On Wednesday 3, 2010, Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Feliz always seems classy to us,but locals say it's turning into a dumping ground for lemon unloading. One of the council member Tom LaBonge wants the city attorney to take action on the amount of used cars sitting idly on the residential thoroughfare, reports the Los Feliz Ledger. LaBonge would have the legal muscle needed to make arrests or issue citatons. The boulevard has long been a swap meet for used cars but it's gotten wore in the past few years. Some residents say people milling around the vehicle could get hit by cars. They also say that the problem has been going on for some time now, but worse recently. Los Feliz Boulevard os freeway like when traffic is thin, but more likely more upset that the used cars are eating up parking spot.In fact one of the State Assembly member Mike Gatto is collaborating with the Dept of Motor vehicles to schedule a raid in the area.He also say he going to bring this issue up when the assembly meets back up in January."We need to get a law that would stand up in court"!!!
In my opine I agree with Tom LaBonge, because yes i do think that Los Feliz Boulevard is turning in a swap meet for used car.We can't even go visit any family members around that area cause there never no parking.
